Style Preferences & Global Settings

The Core Idea

Think of it as a two-step system: global settings handle 90% of the work automatically, and individual adjustments handle the remaining 10% for specific shots.

Style Settings let you dial in your preferred look once, and AutoHDR applies it to every shoot you upload from that point forward. You can still fine-tune individual photos after the fact, but the global settings handle the baseline for you automatically.

Global Style Settings

In your Account page, set global Style Settings: brightness, contrast, vibrance, white balance, and more. These choices apply to all future shoots as your default output look.

1

Go to autohdr.com/account → Style Settings

2

Adjust brightness, contrast, vibrance, white balance, and any other global preferences

3

Save, these settings will apply automatically to every new shoot you upload

Using a Reference Image to Calibrate Your Style

Not sure where to set your sliders? The best approach is to use a photo you've already shot that you love as your reference. Open it in your listings gallery, dial in the adjustments until it looks exactly the way you want, then use those values as your global defaults.

1

Find a photo from a past shoot that represents your ideal look

2

Open it in autohdr.com/listings and use the Adjust Sliders to get it looking perfect

3

Note the slider values, these become your global baseline

4

Go to autohdr.com/account → Style Settings and set those same values as your defaults

5

Every future shoot will now come out matching that look

This is the fastest way to get consistent output across all your shoots, dial in one great photo, then replicate it everywhere.
Custom Profiles: Interior vs. Exterior

If you find yourself consistently making the same adjustments to interior photos and different adjustments to exterior photos, you don't have to redo those manually every time. You can create and save a custom profile for each, one for interiors, one for exteriors, and then toggle them in your master settings.

1

Open a photo in your listings gallery (e.g. an interior shot)

2

Use the Adjust Sliders to get it looking exactly how you want all interiors to look

3

Save those adjustments as a named custom profile (e.g. "My Interior Style")

4

Repeat for an exterior shot → save as "My Exterior Style"

5

In autohdr.com/account → Style Settings, set these custom profiles as your defaults

6

Toggle them on. AutoHDR will now apply the right profile automatically based on shot type

Two profiles, zero manual work. Once your interior and exterior profiles are set and toggled on, every upload will get the right treatment automatically, no adjustments needed per shoot.
Fine-Tuning After Upload

Global settings and custom profiles set the baseline, but you're never locked in. Once a shoot is processed:

  • Open any photo in your gallery and adjust the sliders to tweak it further
  • Changes apply to that photo only. Your global defaults are unaffected.
  • You can still reduce or amplify any enhancement that was applied automatically
  • Adjustments are non-destructive. You can reset back to the processed version at any time
